Mental Health

The BONDS Clinic offers mental health retreat services that provide a respite from daily life stresses allowing us to focus on our wellbeing in a serene and tranquil environment.

When we are in the midst of mental health challenges, it is understandable that we may become frustrated when previous assessment or treatments haven’t proven effective in getting us better. The commotion of daily life, with its distractions and demands, can work against our efforts to regain balance and control.

The BONDS Clinic is centred around compassionate care and support. We offer a unique opportunity to unwind, release stress, and work through emotional issues at a leisurely pace supported by our experienced team of Doctors, Nurses and Therapists.

We offer informal inpatient treatment that supports mental health problems within a relaxing and welcoming environment.

As we are a retreat, we do not accept patients requiring treatment under The Mental Health Act.

All our packages of care are bespoke, incorporating your needs and wishes for truly personalised care.

The length of your stay is flexible, and the team will be happy to discuss this with you during the assessment period.

Why do people book a stay for mental health treatment?

  • “Time out”, pause or reset on major life stresses
  • Medication being altered or changed
  • Intensive therapy
  • Support and nursing care
  • Diagnosis
  • New treatment pathway
  • Complex and detailed assessment

We incorporate Biological (medical), psychological and social aspects to mental and physical health to look at the whole person. We specialise in this “Bio-Psycho-Social” approach to all our work.

We place value on the importance of re-discovering meaningful activities that can be integrated into your treatment plan.
